this is 30
A lot of women approached me about turning 30 with dread. And each one had a particular reason: usually aligning with forms of accomplishments. However, turning 30 for me was about reaching another level of divine. A deeper understanding of my inner goddess. Radiance. Creativity. Sensuality. Impact. Power. And glow.
I focused on utilizing black-owned/woman-owned businesses in putting the look together. Every detail was purposeful and it came together beautifully.

african candy
My friend and talented artist, Big Klef, released his first single for his album TRIPS in Summer 2019. I fell in love with "African Candy" and jokingly told him I wanted to create my own visual to the song if he never released a video.
A year later, I got to to bring my vision of this song to life. Klef paints a picture of the woman he loves in the song. She's independent. Beautiful. A goddess. I wanted to center the visual around this woman.
Showing grace, elegance, and divinity. My version of AC is something I cherish. And it is still one of my favorite songs of his to this day. Check out his full catalog on Spotify or wherever you stream your music.
